Able Retainer is eight hours a month of senior time: platform, apps, network, billing, automation, migrations, and incidents that land during the month. $799. Houston-based. Hours are planned with you so the work that matters this month gets done. For emergencies outside scheduled blocks, use Able Rescue (contact first, any hour).

Rescue is the one-incident option when production is down today. The retainer is for the work you already know is coming this month.

Hours are for

  • Production Linux, Windows, AWS, Kubernetes
  • Mail, VoIP, web and app stacks
  • Migrations, hardening, and deploys that need a steady hand
  • Network design / BGP / switching work that fits the month
  • Billing/ops automation that is leaking time or money
  • Incidents that happen while you are on the retainer — they come out of the same eight hours

How the hours work

What happens after you pay

  1. Pay the Stripe link. The retainer is $799 per month until you cancel.
  2. Email greg@ableadmins.com with access (SSH, VPN, cloud, git) and the first thing you want done this month.
  3. We use the hours, and you will know what they went to — a short note, not a portal to hunt through.
  4. If a month is going to go past eight hours, we talk before I keep going. Hours are for the month you scheduled them.

How this sits next to Rescue and Watch

Rescue is two hours when something is already down. Watch is $99 so a human sees the down host. The retainer is the block of senior time for the planned work: the migration, the mail cutover, the billing fix, the Kubernetes work you have been ready to schedule.

You can use them together. If this week is one incident, Rescue is the faster start; the retainer is there when the work continues.
